Lexus Interface{1} connects you like never before. Among its available features, Intelligent Assistant enables you to control most vehicle features with just your voice, and gets smarter over time. Cloud-based navigation{15} offers more accurate directions and can provide real-time route information. While Profiles allow different drivers to create personalized settings that can go from one Interface-equipped vehicle to another. Lexus Interface is available on select 2022 or newer vehicles. Available features vary by vehicle and subscription type.

Getting Started

Designed with dual microphones, enhanced noise cancellation, and seat detection capabilities for greater voice-recognition accuracy, this industry-leading system ushers in a new era of convenience. By simply saying “Hey Lexus,” you can access and control navigation,{7} media, phone and commonly used vehicle systems like climate control.
Cloud Navigation
This 100% cloud-capable system{3} integrates with Google{6} points of interest (POI) data to ensure faster and more up-to-date search results, more accurate directions, and alternate routes based on current traffic conditions. Entering an area with low connectivity? Offline mode is designed to detect a potential loss of signal and downloads applicable maps and services in advance.
Destination Assist
Enjoy convenient 24-hour access to a live response center agent to help you locate a specific business, address or point of interest.{5} If you’re searching for a restaurant, the agent can help you narrow your choices by distance or type of cuisine, and can remotely send the destination to your vehicle’s Navigation System.{7}
Engine Start/Stop
Whether it's a cold morning or a hot afternoon, this feature lets you remotely start your vehicle to warm or cool the interior based on the last climate-control settings. The vehicle will run for up to 10 minutes or until any door is opened, the brakes are pressed, or the engine is turned off remotely. Your key fob can remotely start your vehicle as long as your keys are within range; simply press the lock button twice and then hold the lock button until your vehicle starts.
Vehicle Finder
The Vehicle Finder makes locating your vehicle on the street or in an uncovered parking lot easier than ever. Using the map on your smartphone, it can help guide you to your vehicle's last known parked location.
Guest Driver Monitor
For added peace of mind when a friend or family member borrows your vehicle, if your vehicle is equipped with Remote Connect, it can send instant alerts if the vehicle is started or exceeds preset limits on speed, curfew, miles driven, engine run time, total elapsed time or distance from a set location.
Door Lock / Unlock
Did you forget if you locked your vehicle? Now you can remotely lock and unlock your doors and receive confirmation that the action was successful. And should you unlock your Lexus remotely, the doors will automatically relock after 30 seconds if no further action takes place.
Vehicle Status And Alerts
With the touch of a button, you can remotely check the status of your vehicle's doors, windows, moonroof, trunk and hood, as well as the vehicle's current fuel level, odometer or trip mileage. The system can also notify you with customizable alerts.
Virtual Assistant
Start the engine{3} and climate control, check the fuel level and more all through the Lexus app on your smartphone, smartwatch, using the Lexus Skill for Alexa,{8} or using just your voice with Hey Google.{6}
Digital Key
Offering the ultimate in convenience, the Digital Key{3} enables you to lock, unlock and start your vehicle by smartphone for you and up to seven additional guests registered on the Lexus app.
In-Vehicle Hotspot
Offering the ultimate in convenience to you as well as your passengers, on-board Wi-Fi{9} enables you to connect up to five mobile devices to your in-vehicle hotspot.
Integrated Streaming
With Apple Music®{10} and Amazon Music{11} built into the Lexus Interface{1} system, Integrated Streaming enables you to sync the system to your active music accounts for a seamless, personalized listening experience. This access is included with every Lexus Wi-Fi Connect subscription.
Vehicle Health Report
Your Vehicle Health Report provides important information including fuel level, vehicle mileage, SmartAccess key battery status, engine oil quantity and more. You can view the reports on your desktop, tablet or phone by using the Lexus app.
Vehicle Alerts
These notifications are sent to you if your vehicle is equipped, when your vehicle reports a malfunction-related event such as low tire pressure. This allows you to schedule a service visit and repair your vehicle accurately and efficiently.
Maintenance Alerts
Scheduled maintenance alerts are sent from your vehicle to you, if your vehicle is so equipped. Drivers can also check their key fob battery level remotely via the Lexus app.
Stolen Vehicle Locator
Once a police report is filed, the Safety Connect{13} response center can work with police to help track and recover your stolen vehicle using Safety Connect's embedded cellular and GPS technology. This may help to recover your vehicle more quickly, minimizing the amount of damage incurred. In addition, the Stolen Vehicle Location system works across the United States.
Enhanced Roadside Assistance{14}
With the added benefit of GPS technology, Lexus Enhanced Roadside Assistance{14} makes standard roadside service even more convenient than other services on the market. Whether your vehicle has run out of gas, has a flat tire, needs to be towed or requires a jump-start, assistance can be sent to your vehicle’s location—all at the press of the Emergency Assistance button (SOS).
Emergency Assistance Button (SOS)
Whether it's a health emergency, a traffic accident or some other urgent situation where help is required, a single press of the Emergency Assistance Button (SOS) can connect you to a 24-hour Safety Connect{14} response center agent. Using your vehicle's GPS technology, the agent can send emergency services to your vehicle's location while offering to stay on the line with you until help arrives. Service agreements required.
Automatic Collision Notification
In the event that your vehicle's airbags deploy or you're involved in a severe rear-end collision, you'll be automatically connected to a response center agent if your vehicle is so equipped. If there is no response after attempting to make contact with the occupants, the agent will notify local emergency services of the situation and direct them to your vehicle's location.
