Direct4 AWD
Standard across the RZ line, DIRECT4 is an all-wheel drive system that achieves quick and linear response according to driver input. The DIRECT4 drive-force distribution control uses vehicle wheel speed, acceleration and steering-angle sensor information to control front-to-rear drive-force-ratio distribution between 100:0 and 0:100. This contributes to improved start-up acceleration, better handling stability and low power consumption.

With a manufacturer-estimated all-electric range rating of up to 266 miles,2 the Lexus RZ 300e can take you well beyond your everyday commute. PADDLE SHIFTERS WITH REGENERATIVE BRAKING FORCE SELECTOR

eAXLE
The high-output electronic axle (eAxle) fully integrates the motor, transaxle and inverter within a compact unit to benefit cruise range without introducing components that compromise exterior or interior design. The front eAxle is packaged with a space-efficient layout. And on RZ 450e models, the rear eAxle features a low-profile layout contributing to increased interior and cargo space.

Lane Change Assist
This available system11 can monitor your surroundings during lane changes and warn you to stay in your lane if another vehicle is detected. When Dynamic Radar Cruise Control12 is in use at highway speeds, Lane Change Assist is initiated by activating the turn signal and briefly holding the lever. If the system determines there are no vehicles or obstacles in its path, a smooth and gradual automatic lane change begins. After a lane change is safely completed, the turn signal is automatically deactivated.
